We recommend going to the beach club! There's a pool, beach area on the lake, a rock slide, and much more! You'll get a wristband (around $15 per person) at check-in which allows you to use the canoes, paddle boards, and paddle boats out on the lake. They also have concessions with food and alcoholic beverages.
Big Canoe has over 20 miles of hiking trails, which includes 3 waterfalls. There is even a 4x4 jeep trail to go off-roading! The scenic hikes are so beautiful and will take you all throughout the mountains, along rivers and lakes. Click on the website to download the trail map or you can get one at the gate entrance when you check in.
Big Canoe offers 3 places to eat inside the gates. The Clubhouse has on onsite restaurant that serves lunch and dinner. There is also a bar that serves bar food and drinks. Duffer's is another restaurant that is available for a quick bite or to have a leisurely breakfast or lunch on the patio. Lastly, they have concessions at that beach club that serves up burgers, hot dogs, chicken tenders, and such. They also serve alcoholic beverages.
Big Canoe has multiple courses across mountain landscapes. Golf will be forever changed after you play our 27-hole championship Mountain Course with striking mountain peaks, rushing streams, and lush valleys. And these 3 Choctaw, Cherokee, and Creek 9-hole courses offer a wide range of difficulties to test players of all levels. Take advantage of our fully stocked pro shop, and work on your game at our practice greens and driving range.
